The Holy Bible says “A tree is known by its fruit, a good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit.

As children of God we are called to be good. In today’s materialistic world, it is the need of the hour to usher in a fresh breath of joy and brotherhood, and spread the brightness where the darkness of discrimination distorts the light of creation. At this juncture St. Alphonsa school stands out with a Motto “Lighted for Life” to make a difference in the life of every child, steps into this portal. The role of our school is not only to persue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower our students to be lifelong leaners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever changing society. Covid - 19 pandemic taught us technology can easily deliver content, but it is only a human teacher that can inspire, encourage, and spark the imagination, inquiry and curiosity in a child, as we moved in the previous 2 years with technology & education hand in hand.

In this present scenario my message to my students is that the people of fine character live by their values; they are honest and are committed to truthfulness, word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity for self- discipline. So Grab the opportunity and benefit maximum.

As character creates self respect which in turn leads to High esteem, Maturity is reflected in all aspects of character such as the decision we make, the friends we choose, the responsibilities we accept and the words we speak. Always remember to uphold the dignity of yours and your school, give preference to others. What you are is God’s gift to you. So be a wonderful tree to bear good fruit so that people will know you by your good character and let you be “Lighted for Life”. Let this year be an year to show light to others with your good deeds.
